At XYZ LOOK we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, app, or use our services.

2. Face and Body Photos

When you upload photos during onboarding or profile updates, we store face and full-body images in our secure cloud storage (Convex). We use them to analyze your style (via OpenAI vision) and to generate personalized virtual try-on images that preserve your likeness (via Google Gemini). We do not use face data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to build identity graphs. Photos are retained while your account is active and are deleted when you delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account), or sooner if you remove them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Personalize your user experience
  • Communicate updates and promotional content (if opted in)
  • Analyze usage for optimization
  • Ensure security and detect fraud

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share data with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate XYZ LOOK, including:

  • Convex (backend database, authentication, and file storage)
  • OpenAI (photo style analysis)
  • Google Gemini (outfit / try-on image generation)
  • RevenueCat (in-app purchases)
  • Apple / Google (sign-in and app store services)

These providers process data under their own terms and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal data.

We may also share data with legal authorities if required by law.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request corrections or deletion
  • Withdraw consent for marketing
  • Request data portability
